I apologize for those of you who have weak stomachs, but to me this is simply amazing. This is a picture of my brother’s old heart, which had an underdeveloped left atrium and ventricle.

The black parts are stitches from previous surgeries.
The wires were once connected to a pacemaker that kept his heart beating at a good pace.

The greatest gift you can give is the gift of life, and I thank the family who had to lose one to save one.
